Pretty sure the OEM ones were drilled through the center anyways.. never ran one with a zerk like that.

The OEM bolts are hollow, It's not hard to modify it with holes drilled through the bolt allowing grease to get right up in the bearings.  Glann Innovations sells modified bolts drilled & tapped with grease zerks.  I like the idea personally.

Unless you drill holes in the bearing collars & bearing shells adding zerks to the swinger bolt & or the pivot end of the swinger won't allow grease to get to the bearings. If your doing it to keep the bolt greased to make it easy to remove than that's an option but cross drilling the bolt at the collars will obviously make it weaker.
