Title: Who are you close to?
Post by: croat1 on February 14, 2020, 08:49:35 PM
I'm curious to see who our great ORG members are close to relating to ATV parts.  Unfortunately I'm not close to many 2 stroke related shops.  Here is my list:

AC Racing.  Just over a hour away
Wiseco pistons.  45 minutes
Advanced Sleeve.  45 minutes
Cometic Gaskets.  45 minutes
Baldwin Motorsports.  Just over a hour
HMF.  15 minutes
Supertrapp.  15 minutes
EMF Auto Clutch.  Just over a hour
ATV Four Play.  30 minutes
Six 5 Design.  just over a hour

30 min to taylor honda
1 hr to LED
1 hr 15 min to Full bore
and thats all i know, but if your in the area go to taylor Honda its in woodburn oregon. i have come to them with some weird parts and they always know exactly where they are and they always have them. like throttle pivot bushings and they had them and knew where they were. also they were relatively cheap.

Taylor Honda is probably the best Honda shop in America. It's very small though. Their all old school people.... I'm +/- Ryan & Loren's times. There's also DTR in Salem, Matt is another old school R guy.

I grew up with ESR in my backyard.  One of  the coolest things I’ll never forget was in 1987 I was seven years old.  My dad had gotten an 85 ATC 250 R. it had a Selvy pipe on it and he was not happy with the way it ran.  We took it to Eddie’s house to have Eddie port it and change the pipe and carb.  There was no ESR at the time.  Eddie was just working on motors out of his garage.  So here we are standing in Eddie’s garage talking 2 strokes and he has sitting there an 88 Trx250R.  It was one of the first ones released to the public and I had never seen one before.  It was so awesome!

I agree but ignorant people still don't want to ship to me.
A guy on a GTO form was selling new s/s brake lines for my car. Messaged him right away. Said he will not ship to Hawaii. WTF? Another transaction I the same week guy selling a hawk subframe. Said will not ship to me because it would take to long. WTF? I'm the one waiting. In this day and age I could send something to the moon.

Yes, I am having Jim  make a set of front shocks now. I also brought my Laeger narrow in  for him to measure for his steering stabilizer.
