Thanks for the feedback. What browser are you using? And computer or phone / tablet? I haven't seen any of those issues nor does Google Webmaster Tools show any errors so we'll need your feedback to track down. Anything more specific about the "site not available" message?
Anybody else having issues?

No issues here. I check in at least once a day

I’ll see if I can reproduce it. The chatbox stops refreshing after a period of inactivity (as does logging you out of the site). But I’ll take a look for errors. Keep me posted if you keep seeing them.

i get that chat box issue but i just refresh the page and its fine.

same with me. only if i timed out. i refresh and its fine

I've seen the error message croat1 posted but it's only happened a couple times for me lately. I was seeing that chat box message all the time on our old i-pad but I switched to a kindle fire & problem went away.

Thanks for the feedback guys - I'll have to refresh myself on details of the underlying script that the chatbox uses but basically timeout issues can occur after a period of inactivity (on page but no movement, new web browser tab, etc.). If you're seeing it when you first load the page (or reload) then that's probably a compatibility issue. It's hard to reproduce anything without knowing exactly what you're doing beyond that.

I tried at noon, and it took 45 minutes to get to read the new posts. Same thing as the last times.

Hmmm I haven't able to reproduce anything like that in Chrome myself, nor am I seeing related errors in the logs. How is your internet connectivity during those times? When you say it took 45 minutes to get to read the new posts - what was it doing - just loading, giving error messages and you were refreshing? I'll try to fix when narrow down the source.
Anybody else seeing issues like this?

My connectivity is just fine, and I have no other problems with any other sites on-line. I'm on a wireless network that is thru Frontier, and have a wireless booster 10 feet away in my room, and it never fails. The router is 3 months old, and the strength shown on my lap top is excellent, and all my on-line use has no other issues other then this site.
I'll stop complaining now :( Sorry I brought it up, as I seem to be the only one with issues.

Thanks - please keep posting issues. I’d like to track it down. Besides the chat box error, what are the errors / messages you saw when it took 45 minutes for the page to load? Hopefully those can direct me where to look next.

I know that your just a volunteer, and I see that I'm the only one complaining, so I'll just log on as I can. It didn't take 45 minutes for the page to load (I'm not that patient), I just had to try 4 different times before It would let me in. It is, what it is.

It's our forum but it's doesn't have a for-profit company behind it if that's what you mean by volunteer. When you say you had to "try 4 different times" - what happened? Blank page? Some error message?
