Title: Front shock reservoir clamps
Post by: The norm on June 23, 2021, 07:13:19 AM
Howdy there fellas, I am looking for some reservoir clamps for my Axis fronts. I have a stock 86 frame and the reservoir measures at 2.003". Who still produces these and where do I find them.
Thanks Loren

Loren, a few options for you..Sonny F., Luke H., and a shop on Etsy.  Tony might still have some or maybe make some.

Hey Loren - whatever you do - make sure to measure the reservoir itself.  I had an issue with one of the folks listed above - gave them the OD of the reservoir and they didn't measure - sent me some saying "they'll fit AXIS" - they didn't.  All 3 sets of my Axis reservoirs measure slightly different sizes (think this was due to mfgr year).

That being said, I used these hoses + rubbers from Schmidty - https://www.ebay.com/itm/220633870033?hash=item335ecdaed1:g:hAoAAOSw2XtdsIsW

Looks like those easy clamps are 3D printed plastic. I'm sure they are good just not sure how I would feel about plastic on my R.
Ryan, I measured my rezi's with a set of mitutoyo dial calipers. They range from 2.002" to 2.008".
Thanks for the replies fellas
