Title: Rear hub question
Post by: Texas30cal on October 03, 2021, 06:24:19 PM
What other OEM Honda hubs will fit the 250r’s axle?  Also, I have a set of hubs that are definitely aftermarket and have the same spline count as the axle , they start on but are too tight on the splines, any idea what they are

The only other Honda oem hubs that are 25 spline count are ATC 350X.  I’ve seen hubs not go on due to damaged splines and grease/mud/rust build up that turned solid thus effecting installation.    For aftermarket options:

Idk what’s wrong with these, they are 25 spline and inside is clean enough to eat off of. They’re not billet aluminum, I’m assuming forged or cast (if cast would hold up) with a hexagonal steel splined insert. I’ve got a set of hubs in my container but I think they’re for my 86 200x , will check them.

The hubs you described with the steel hex insert are DuraBlue.

That is them, not sure why they don’t fit, they weren’t on it before, they were in a box and it had my buddies cannondale hubs on it.
