I'm sure this is a dumb question but I just drained my gas tank and whats left of the gas is no longer purple or smell right, it is all brown and when it sits for more than a minute ish what I'm assuming is the oil all separates to the bottom and smells like a rotting mouse or something dead. This was unleaded vp110 and dumonde tech 111 the exact same tank that I ran in August at the winchester meet I forgot who I got it from down at winchester but it was out of the barrel not a 5 galloner. I take it that its just old or mabey the cold its probably been getting down to freezing in the shop where it is and its not a big deal its the only 110 I've got right now and only like 2 cups of it so its not like 20 gallons ruined just wanna know what might have made this happen

They say that the only dumb question is the question unasked....
I am not familiar with unleaded vp110. All the race fuel I used is leaded. I am also not familiar with dumond tech pre-mix. If it is a castor oil then you will see the oil separate from the fuel after a time. How long of a time I do not know as I stay away from castor.
I do know that the sonoco leaded 110 is purple before I mix it with Klotz R50. Klotz R50 is a red color so when mixed with the sonoco it turns a dark red color and will eventually turn brown. I tend to use all my mixed fuel and only store unmixed sonoco 110. I have on occasion had left over mixed fuel and not seen the Klotz R50 separate from the fuel. So that again makes me think you are using castor or a castor blend.

Then it was leaded, i dont remember but its purple and the dumonde tech i use is also purple so the fact its gray is weird. It wouldent let me post pictures before

Some of what you see could possibly be the lead settling out of the gas. I have seen that in some of my race fuel that sat in a plastic jug for just shy of a year. It was not mixed however.
