Title: It's complete - Laeger Framed / LSR No-Link
Post by: beobe99 on August 13, 2013, 09:59:38 PM
What's up guys? I started this project roughly a year ago and actually finished it up about 3 months ago before snapping a few pics (life got busy).. Anyway here it is, My Laeger stock replacement framed R with LSR No-link rear end. The engines stock and without a doubt needs to be tuned / re-jetted (any recommendations? Stock carb, 20 over, open air-box, LRD exhaust in the North East... It's currently boggy down low into the mid range). This is my 3rd build and my nicest so far! Feedback welcomed!!

Thanks guys,

I like the look of the headlight nose piece a lot,do you have a light for it or plan on leaving it empty? Either way she looks good!

Sweet. I like the white frame too. White frames require a little more detail time when cleaning up but they sure look good.

Thanks, I debated the headlight or not. I'm either going to bend out a nice air duct to divert the air down to the Rad or just simply end up with the light.. Headlights aren't cheap though it seems (my belts tightened after this build).

Thanks Fellas, it's always a good feeling to get props from the R community on a Build. The white frame / swinger is my favorite part of the Bike no doubt, this is my first aftermarket Framed R so I had to make it stand out! Now, the only problem is I don't have any builds / projects ....

Beauty. How about some pics of the airbox and intake. That seems to no the tricky part of a no link build.

Yes it was! Prior to this I had no idea a No-Link Required a Custom Air Box. I bought an aluminum Box for $80, saw it wouldn't fit and spent another $175 having it altered so a total of 1 million dollars into the Air Box (should work though, I couldn't get it to hit). I'll try to get some pics today, basically all's I had done was have the front lower part of the box chopped from 90 degrees to 45.
