After being on the fence about what carb I wanted to run, the SC2 caught my attention. After reading many reviews, with some positive, and some negative, I decided to give it a shot. I gave them the details on my setup, as well as possible future planned mods. 8 weeks later, it finally arrived, and got installed. The bike fired up on the first kick, and had a nice fat blubbery idle. Even with it running pretty rich, it has great throttle response. It's still really early, and I need to do a little tweaking to lean it a bit. But I will say, out of the box, I'm seriously impressed on how close the "jetting" is. On the east coast, my temps range from 0-100, and low humidity to 100%. Im hoping it lives up to its name. I used a dremel to remove a bit of material from the factory air boot, right at the top where the venturi is, to be sure it was exposed as required. It was a tight fit with the boot, but a little heat, and some choice words got it done. Im not saying this is the carb for you, but it seems to be working well for me so far. Hopefully I can update this post in a few weeks when I get some real time to dial it in.

I am glad the smart carb worked for you. We were running 400+ cc motors. Jetting to lean and burned a few bores. X tra crispy throttle response. But seemed to die for no reason. Have not been able to play with them since I lost use of my right arm. Thanks for the update, Pumashine

Sorry to hear about your hand. As for the SC, I'm hoping my opinion doesn't change as I attempt to get it fully dialed in, but I'm also not running any wild motor combo as of yet. I'll be sure to report back if and when I smoke a piston. I will get some real ride time in about 2 weeks, and we will see what happens.

I've had great success with the SC. It is imperative that you don't use the stock intake boot. The orifice at the top of bell needs a clear shot at incoming air. The settings it came with were spot on. 40mm on a LED 363.
