i dont understand how this cap can fit so many different tanks, when the plastics caps can only fit a couple of them and wont fit on others.

I too thought how can this possibly work.  After reading the description again what I gather is:
It’s a general statement about how the manufacturer of these caps tested the check valve flow on specific models.

He makes caps specific to atv and tank style/manufacturer.

Are the check valves of the ball spring or the flat plate spring design?
