Title: Bushings for Lonestar A-Arms
Post by: Langbolt on December 24, 2023, 03:44:24 PM
Has anyone sourced out these bushings for the Lone Star A-Arms ? They measure 0.780" on the OD.....thought I could use 3/4" Bushings (0.753") but they're too sloppy.

They're DELRIN so surely they're available somewhere.....Can't see spending $200 US + shipping to CANADA for these :(

Might just have to buy some 13/16" bushings and turn them down to size.....but I wanted to ask first.

Thanks

:)

John

John, try calling Garage Products and see if he’ll reconsider making the bushings you need.

There was a fella on eBay making bushings. I bought A-arm bushings and swinger bushings from him in the past. He also said he was willing to machine to my dimensions if needed. I’ll see if I can dig up his information and I’ll get back to you.

Looks like he’s still in business. https://www.ebay.com/itm/295735723850?hash=item44db39074a:g:r3QAAOSw3sVj2hYt
Try that link and contact him. Hopefully he’s able to help you out.

Well I reached out to SKAGGS12 on E-bay and he made me up a set of bushings & sleeves for the OLD Race style Lone-Star A-Arms (Bushings in lower arms only).

Here's his post if anyone else needs a set.

I’m glad it worked out for you. When I first emailed him a few years ago about a custom order he was very agreeable and great to work with.

Loren - Yes! He's been very good to deal with. I'll post some pics when I get them installed. :)
