I have 3 pipes and need to decide which one to use....
ESR trx-6 pipe
PT Type 6 pipe
FMF pipe (can't remember which one exactly, Ill find out)...
Motor (stock cyl) will have a mid-range port...
I wand more low to mid range, and more torquier easier to ride power, but w/ good all around power. Not concerned w/ much power up top, because the wood/trails we ride don't usually allow for that. I want to be able to torque it up a rocky hillclimb w/ some technical spots and big rocks that I can't barrel over...
Which pipe will be my best bet?
And what is the trx-6 pipe best at? I see it's no longer offered....
Thanks!

I would go with the trx6. It is an mx/woods pipe. Not much different than the trx7 that they offer now. The PT type 6 is strictly a woods pipe. The trx6 would be better all around, but still have better low/mid than the other ESR pipes. If you have a fatty pipe, the TRX6 would probably have better low/mid over it too. Try the trx6. If you still want more low end, then try the PT6.

I would start off with the trx6. I have never ran a pt type 6 myself but the trx6 has a large woods fan base. Go from there.

Thank you for the replies... good to hear as I didn't know the trx6 was a mx/woods pipe...I'll start w/ that one!!:smile-new:

You should let me try out that PT Type 6 :)

Try them all and see which one you like to ride with the most......

Haha Tbone maybe... if this trx6 pipe is the ticket, it may be up for sale!
