Solution to the kids tearing up my back yard(we live in town)! Mounted some spare Hoosiers on the DS50!
-
Hahaha! That's funny!
Kids will be kids
-
Yep,they were pretty excited! They were just as happy that I was working on it instead of mine, that DS has been rock sold in the two years we've had it,best $500 Ive ever spent.
-
I had the same thing happen in my yard, when the kids were little. We had an acre of yard and two TRX90's. Berms around every tree and a track through the yard.
At the time I was a little uptight about that. But they had so much fun. Let them enjoy. To this day, they still talk about the good time they had. Dad, letting them rip up the yard. :ride:

Lol,yep!.. I dont mind, its less I have to mow, lol. I built them a 1'x5' roller bump(or jump as they call it!) at the very back. It almost like a little TT track, switchback by the swingset and trampoline, circle around the garden then 180 around the picnic table..LOL!!

Our neighbors on each side are in their 70's,great people, they get a kick out of it! Since Im always working on cars, quads, bikes, etc,we have an 8pm rule. No loud air tools,no test and tune,it helps keep a good balance between us all.
-
thats a mean looking 50!
-
The cool thing about it is they use the 90 chassis so they will grow into it for awhile, and that 50cc motor is no slouch for the little guys.
-
Great kids quads. I had a 90 version, scrambler, for my kids for a bit.
-
Yep,Im sure that will be our next one!

8pm, that sucks man, my neighbors are cool with it all. 10pm cut off unless I was getting ready for race and I had to tune, they new why I was doing it, but other than that I wouldn't do anything after 10pm if it me t starting the bike up. All other stuff they didn't care, because I was working in the trailer and I wasnt usually load.

cool vid my son had a viper 90 and i built him a track in the garden so my wife could keep an eye on him when i was at work. we dont have to worry about neighbors closest ones are my parents about a half mile from us. but then again i do play the banjo and carry a gun. LOL
