I was just on the site dreaming again with all of this case talk and noticed this new online discount tab. I guess with the changes they are going through they are making the site itself better for ordering directly through it and giving you a discount if you do.

Here is a copy paste from that page.
( For the fastest shipping we offer online ordering directly though this website. As a special offer we will give you a discount to order from the website. Please use the discount code "onlineorder" during checkout to take advantage of this offer. This offer is only good for online orders. )
Cool.

I noticed the same thing this morning. Was checking out the trx7 pipe. The one that replaced the trx6. Does the $500 center case price include bearings?
-
I don't know if they come with bearings or not. I wouldn't think so but I just looked and couldn't tell from the add thingy. I believe that I read in the past that it came with the misc bearings but not the mains but don't count on this statement.
-
The discount equates to a 5% discount. Not too shabby for already good prices.
-
Not bad for already great pricing.

I'll be the guinea pig... I just ordered a couple of parts today that im not in a hurry to get, using the online ordering and checkout. I got the 5% discount, but what I liked even better was I could select from the different shipping methods. In the past Tom always dinged me for higher shipping than I felt was necessary (CA to AZ). Lets see what happens and when I get the parts...

Bearings were extra when I bought my cases but I don't remember if I got a discount on them.

:applause: Two thumbs up for our sponsor!!

I called ESR the other day to find out why I would not have received a wrist pin bearing with the top end cylinder kit. Also had the crank stroked/rebuilt and I just assumed the pin bearing would have been in with the piston. The girl that answered the phone had no idea what I was talking about.:confusion:I hope this is not a sign to come. Im worried now about customer support after just shelling out 2 G's on my engine.
-
And the rest of them. How come we could not get any sponsors on .net other than BDT? Was it because Carlos was bashing ESR and LED and Hybrid, and.......?
Exactly, thanks to all of them. Awful funny how our site has multiple big name sponsors that have products that SELL THEMSELVES, and they all get along!

We heard yesterday that Eddie's mother was answering the phone. Be patient, with the online discount it looks like they are trying to move to internet sales. In the past Tom had said the internet sales was down and he was doing it manually. It will probably take some time to straighten things out.
-
Yes, just be patient with the person helping on the phone at this time. Explain knowing that they may not know it all it this time about your order or the item in question.

FYI - I ordered my ESR parts online last Friday ( no phone order calls) and I received the parts 3 business days later (this Wednesday). So the Internet sales are definitely working.... :suspicion:

This link is on there home page today.

There has been an update on the center cases. Available with and without bearings. Too cool.

Are the bearings Oem quality or are they just a boss bearing kit?
-
They won't sell boss bearing or km or whatever it is junk. The good stuff only.
-
I'm pretty sure it was all factory bearings that I got from ESR when I ordered all new bearings for my 310. And I bought my cases with bearing in them about 2 weeks later, so I'm pretty sure most of it is factory if not all of it.
-
That's pretty good price then, anywhere else its almost 250 for Oem bearings and seals, plus esr has them pressed in already all for an extra 100 bucks, SOLD...

Wrist pin bearings don't come with piston kits. They do come with new cranks. Did you specify you wanted a wrist pin bearing when you had them rebuild the crank?
-
^^^ sorry I suppose it would be included in the Crank rebuild kit
-
This is great for all of us, I can't wait to get the money up to make my purchase here soon. I've always had good luck with esr and there parts. I am just happy we have someone who cares enough about the old 250r's to keep making parts for them and us loyal riders and builders of these fine machines.

yeah when I called monday to get new cylinder head studs because their recomended 22 ft lbs. of torque broke one and stretched the rest, they are sending me a pin bearing that did not come with my purchase. They do take care of the customer but it seems that some level of frustration I guess can just be expected with them IMO.

I've had good experiences with them and don't like it when people complain to easily. You are in the right.
