Title: Turf Tamer - Knock off's available

Well.... for anyone looking for ITP (Carlisle - Titan - DICO originals) Turf Tamers and are finding it almost impossible to locate a good set that aren't all dry rotted or cracked.....there may be a solution.

I was recently made aware that there are 2 companies that make a knock off tire of the Original Turf Tamer.....and they have good reviews.

Wanda P322 & Hi-Run SU-17 are two really close matches.

Just thought I'd pass on this info for anyone looking for them

Well I pulled the Trigger and Ordered a set of the WAN DA :D They're 4ply......but the knobbies don't seem very tall.....now to dig out my Tire Groover and give them the RETRO look!! :D

what was the performance problem these tires solved over other tires, or are you mainly just interestd in the look?

@All250R - No real performance gain over any other tire.....just going for the Retro '90's MX Atv look. I'm building a Gary Denton themed bike and couldn't find any Turf Tamers.
