Title: New member, thanks for the add!!
Post by: bonedoc on March 25, 2024, 12:48:52 PM
Hello everyone,

Thank you for allowing me to join the forum. I've built several 250Rs with the last being approx 12 years ago. Unfortunately I sold it in 2017 and regretted it ever since. Have had the itch and currently in the process of building an '86 250R. Looking forward to getting info and hopefully contributing to the forum.

Thanks

Harold

Thanks for the welcome.

Build on the '86 is going well. My frame is blasted and waiting for powder. Planned on doing puma's gusset kit. Had ordered it but the order just got cancelled, that it is out of stock. Not expected for 2-3 weeks. I'll wait the time frame as I want it gusseted before powdering the frame. Still gathering parts. Sent my rear shock outto Evan at Schmidty for a rebuild. My engine cases are getting cerakoted, etc. Will post pics once it starts to come along.

It's good you're not powder coating the cases.
