Title: New Puma (redesigned) cylinder
Post by: croat1 on February 11, 2025, 08:26:35 PM: I’ve heard in passing that the Puma cylinder is getting changed. More or less redesigned. That Dave Moore is doing it. Has anyone heard the same? Any other information available?

I saw a reel from Dave Moore that the LYNX was re-designed.....but for what application ? More for MX or are these CPI cylinders (other than the TOYGER) designed for Dune / Drag racing applications only ? :)

Originally Nate McCoy and Matt Shearer were the ones doing the R&D for the Lynx and early versions had higher port timings. Sounded like their feedback may have been slow, but whatever the reason - Dave ended up being involved and taking on/over the project to bring the Lynx to where it is in production form, which is great. Though some credit is due to Nate & Matt on getting the project going initially.
