Title: trash or treasure ?

I have a set of cases that have signs of what i believe is casting marks / issues. Of course its the left side.
 I wanted to contact dave moore , but don't do facebook and I know everybody is pretty busy right now anyways, so i figured I'd ask some opinions here.
I've watched cases on ebay sell for good money with similar flaws.
 These are replacement cases, which seems to be where i find this. I also see other new, unused replacement NOS cases with signs of this as well.   

I also included a pic of a NOS case that isn't mine that shows it too.

Hey Bill, I say you’re good.  Casting flaws.  Every time I’ve seen this brought up it’s a “no issues” “your good”.

Sand the area with a 150 to 200 grit cartridge roll until you can't see the blemish/crack.  Put the case into the oven and heat the case up to about 200 deg. F.  If there is a crack, oil in the crack will expand and the crack will become visible.

Thanks Joe. I think I showed these to you, and you thought maybe cracked at the time.  None of that goes into the bearing ‘bore’  , and all the left side “off the shelf”  NOS cases I see, that haven’t been ran yet, show signs of this.

That’s the only imperfection on the set, and just wanted to be sure, and honest about them when I go to sell them.
