Title: Atc clutch in an 88 trx 250 r

I hope one of you guys can tell me if a clutch from a 1985 atc 250 r engine will fit in a 88 trx 250 r engine. In other words are they the same thanks in advance

as far as I know it will fit but the preasure plate and the type bearing used is different 85 came with a single large ball bearing that goes between the pushrod and puck.the 88 came with 3 small bearings that wore out very quickly and was updated in a kit that Honda sold fo 40 bucks the 89 came with the updated flat Torrington bearing

Yes, all the motors 85-89 are the same as far as clutch swapping. I moved your thread to the engine section where it should have been started, thanks!

Well i got the clutch in today . The 86 setup went right in thanks for the input guys
