Engine and Bottom End / Re: shorty spark plug?
« on: June 04, 2020, 03:03:36 PM »
thank you Jerry!  Its actually for my sons RM85 shifter quad Im building, which stock plug is a 10 heat range.  At $40 a pop though (summit racing), Id probably just be better off having a custom aluminum fuel tank made for it.

Engine and Bottom End / shorty spark plug?

Is there a shorter version of the typical B8xxxx used in most 2 strokes?  I need like a 1/2" extra clearance on a hybrid.

I betcha Mr. Pritchard would have known the answer, RIP.

Carburetor, Intake, and Exhaust / Air filters

What air filters are you guys using these days.  My old setup was a K&N with a Uni wrap on the outside, but they havent made those since James Lucky went tits up.  Been using Uni quite a while since, but the last year or 2 the quality has gone to shit.  rubber boots crack, glue comes apart at the seams, etc.  Id switch to Twin Air, but they dont make one for the TRX250r.

using no toil maintenance system.

just checking if maybe there is a new option I havent heard of.

oh man, I havent used photobucket in years.  I have lots of old pics on there, but in theory they are all on my external back up harddrive.  Id say ~10 years ago there was a lot of adds and it seems like the site had been hacked with all the pop ups and site crashes.  Looks like nothing has changed.  weird how over ran it is.

currently when I log in it keeps taking me to a page for Xfinity and fill out some form for a gift card.  wont even load my pics.

all the info you are looking for is on here if you search   ;)

in this forum there is a jetting database sticky and if you search for "break-in" you will find the info you are looking for on that topic.

not trying to be a jerk, just saying the site is a bit slow, but thats cause almost everything to be discussed has already been discussed!   ;D
