I have a very nice Pro Circuit T-4 exhaust. I purchased new, for my personal 450. Nice upgrade from the stock system. Pro Circuits quality is among the best. This system has a lot of use left. Has a hole repaired on the underside. Once mounted, out of view. Iím posting for you closet 450 riders or your friends.  ;D

$175.00 Plus the ride.

Suspension and Chassis / Rear Shock Linkage

I need some correct info. I believe the 86 rear dog bone (1) and rod assy (4) were 1 inch longer. Can this setup be use on an 88 frame and shock? Will it sit lower or higher in the rear?

Still looks lean? Arlan recommended a needle (CEL), going in the opposite direction, that I thought it needed.

For Sale - Parts / ESR TRX5R Pipe and Silencer ** SOLD **
« on: March 01, 2018, 01:08:07 PM »
Selling a ESR TRX5R pipe and silencer. This pipe was a revised version of the TRX5. Supposedly adding more bottom end, to the already good mid and top. As the pictures show, the chrome is discolored and a little rust around the mount and cylinder section. No dents. Overall, still a nice upgrade for someone not looking for show quality. The silencer is a couple years old, it's in really good condition. Repacked with very few hours.
No longer needed. Making room. $200.00 shipped to continental 48. SOLD.

Wow, are shocks crazy money.  :o My rear stocker needs some love. Probably best to buy new. Jet Suspension offers one of theirs for $800. I ride flat farm land and trails. No jumping. Are there any other options? Thanks.

Engine and Bottom End / Wet Base Gasket

Can this be normal? Both sides. Excessive oil on the outside edge of the gasket. Seems to be seeping through.

Engine and Bottom End / This Could Be The End!
« on: April 29, 2015, 10:08:04 AM »
I've come to the realization, maybe I'm not to own one of this fine machines. All my life, I wanted to own the infamous TRX250R. At the age of 46, my dream came true. Found a nice clean machine in Maryland. Brought her home and for a year was Happy! Happy! Then I started to purchase aftermarket cylinders, and the trouble begins. The first 330 had overheating issues. 3 pistons, until I found the water passages around the exhaust side, were tiny little slivers. Fixed that and away I go. Now comes to the current 350. Three nice heat cycles and two short little trips up and down the road, I have this galling building up already. So now we buy more pistons until I find, what the FUK happen this time? It's getting old and expensive. My 450R is a blessing! No problems like this POS. I'm on the ledge! I don't know if I'm coming back in. :upset:

Carburetor, Intake, and Exhaust / Keihin PWK Air Striker Float Level
« on: April 28, 2015, 12:29:20 PM »
I fired up the 350. Took her down the road for a little test ride. Going through the first couple of gears, down shifting no problem. Got her up into fourth, and she dies. Like I lost power or fuel. I checked the obvious, spark, fuel flow out of the petcock. Everything checks out. Removed and cleaned the carb. No signs of debris or any blocked orifices. So I check the float level, blowing in the fuel inlet, it shuts off at this position. Does this look a little low? And could this be my problem, with the bowl running out of fuel? I checked the gas cap vent and all the vent hoses, on the carb. Thanks guys.
