I was contemplating marketing the sleeves and even offering to modify people's A-Arms.

DO IT!!!! There are 400EX owners with the exact same problem too!!!

:D

Loren,

I've seen where you cut off the old ball joint...and install an aftermarket one that slips in to factory hole.....but your method is by far stronger and making it easy to powdercoat without risking ruining the ball joint boots!

I could see a big demand for these sleeves!!!

Thanks for sharing

:D

Yes!

I used the Norma CR-60 clamps for the Intake-to-Carb clamp.

9mm wide band

40mm-60mm range

@havinnoj

Thank you sir!  So maybe easier to find a proper 250R one?

Maybe....but a 250R toolbox will be pricey.....you can get a brand new 400EX toolbox from Honda for $34 :D

@havinnoj

I made a couple aluminum spacers to get the offset i needed.

I did use the factory washers with the step in them if these are the bushings you are referring to.

Twin air filter number is 150902.  Id have to guess UNI has a universal filter wrap for the K&N.  An option is to buy a sheet of UNI filter material and make your own wrap.

Joe

Hey Joe, I bought a Twin Air a few years ago.....and it's smaller than the OEM filter ??

I see MOOSE makes one too....and it comes pre-oiled! ;)

The 2 Piston rebuild kits that were available on AMAZON.....are no longer available..... :(

Maybe there are pistons from the CFR nissin calipers that will work ???
