You'll love Oregon Joe. Too bad you don't have a month to check out all the cool stuff.

I could stay longer but I知 trying to rollover as much vacation time as I知 allowed into next year.  I think 8 days works well for my first time out that way.  Hope to make it out 2 times next year...maybe 3 times.

is the 450r frame bolt pattern the same as the 250r frame bolt pattern?  As far as Center to center of the holes?

Bolt hole center to center for a 86/87 Trx250r and a 2008 Trx450er measure 2.010

Joe this cracks me up.  I’ll be in Croatia the beginning of August while you’ll be in Oregon haha.  I’m aiming to be home around Aug 14 and then can meet up with you back in town!

Ryan. I was supposed to be in Croatia also....obviously plans changed.  It is a beautiful country.  Enjoy your time there.  Can't wait to meet up with you and the rest of the guys.  I'm booking my flight today.  Looks like I am staying for 8 days.

Engine and Bottom End / Re: enough demand for billet cases yet?
« on: May 25, 2019, 11:54:45 AM »
there are enough used oem, NOS, and take out oem that billet cases aren't needed at the moment.  Mat'l, design time (reverse engineering) and machining a part such as billet cases isn't going to be a big seller at the price points you mention.  I'm sure a few would sell but not many.

used oem (damaged cases) are being repaired by Rob Selvy, Dave Moore and Pete (Hybrid).....and I'm sure many more.   Dave Moore is dedicating shop equipment just for cases repair.

I'll be spending some vacation time this year in Oregon.  My last work day is August 11th (possibly off for the rest of the month).  This works out because I can make the Winchester Bay meet up.  So, where should I fly in to?  Any suggestions on what to do....places and people to see?  Cool towns?  Bar/restaurants that are a must go to?

thanks
