What to do with motor

Right now I have a 350 pro x with a long rod. I'm wondering how I'd do with a good porting with 4 mill crank, custom pipe and lectron. If that would get me  going good I might wait on a cub.

Has the cylinder already been ported?

Not sure what CT sets the port timings too on a dune port, but if I had to guess you will end up with at least a drag port just by putting in the 4 mil crank.  You'll want to see what your timings are and then go from there to determine if you can go with the 4 mil or not.  You may have to stick with the stock stroke and then have the cylinder ported again for more top end.

adding a +4mm crank and a full port job from someone who i would say is a master carver could net you 5-10whp if your building a duner bike. if your wanting to add a lectron and a drag pipe with alky you could gain more, probably upto 15whp depending on who builds and setups your stuff.

I use 110 or 114 sonoco. I don't want to tear down until October so I can ride. I was thinking about keeping my set up as its very good in the woods and getting a ATC and doing a puma. I need something top end for play and some hill climbing.

+4mm crank would be the cheaper route with any cylinder you choose, as the +6mm cranks go up in price very fast.

a good running 431 puma will put a smile one anyones face that doesn't have a saber already =P

I don't know how ct calls this a mid/top port because it feels like a bottom/mid motor. Must be the lrd pipe. I'd I can make a big difference with what I have now I will.

CT porting is decent at best. 350 is a great cylinder to run around on. Had one for a while (CT) in a TRX I had. Was a blast to ride. Its a play motor, MX, Dunes, trails, etc...

Have a decent Honda builder work over the cylinder for porting and get yourself CR ign...this will wake it up.

Yes, I'm wondering how well I'd do with a new top end, striker crank, custom pipe and lectron

I do it all and seem to always be 3/4 to wide open. I need to do some trails but focus is on play drag, hill climb, dirt roads.
