Question about rider weight suspension ranges
« on: October 24, 2013, 11:11:29 PM »
I was wanting to replace the oem shocks on my wife's 250R. She weighs about 120-125 & I'm around 195-200. Is it possible to set shocks up to work good for her but also be able to tighten them up enough for me to ride it without bottoming out all the time?

It would be easier and cheaper to just get a set of stockers and bolt them up. She's on the lighter side so if you are running a +2 arm with stock shocks it may ride fairly nice for her. The rear just back the preload on the sring off and mess with the comp and rebound on a stock rear shock to see how it works for her.
