I'm from Portugal, and after a few years following this forum, and looking for a TRX250R, finally last year I got one, a 1988 model:

1986 Trx250r-- craigslist engine with unknown ported 89 cylinder.
1985 Atc250r-- Needs a lot of work (Super 310's new home)

Wow, nice R and even cooler picture!  What part of Portugal are you in?  I have spent little time there but did live in Spain for a while my earlier years.

First, I'm already rebuilding the engine to OEM specifications, then I want to install nerf-bars, new shocks and A-arms.

Then (€€€€) new plastics, new graphics and seat cover.

Not easy, once that is not legal ride the 250R on public roads, the only options are ride in closed tracks or on the hills.
