RPM brand Ignition Advancer
« on: November 07, 2023, 09:57:17 AM »
Hey guys, Having a brain FART.....does moving the Trigger Up Advance the timing on the RPM unit ? Or does moving it down Advance it ? They say the range is +7 to -5 and there are 7 lines down and 5 lines up from the Stock location....So I assumed Down was ADVANCE.....but my brain is telling me that moving it UP should be ADVANCE ?

Any help on this is appreciated.

The Link on Team-RPM's Website to the Instructions is broken (Page 404 error) and I let them know.

Hopefully someone has the Instructions or knows the correct way to set this up.

Thanks

John

Yes, moving it up advances the timing. I don't have the RPM advancer but I have 2 Hinson's & thats how they are, advance up/retard down.
