For Sale - Parts / Re: NOS 1988 fenders
« Last post by All250R on April 20, 2024, 10:51:27 AM »
I'm the same way. I restore and maintain them, but I orient them for the rider. I also stay in shape physically, so I ride.
I have NOS fenders, but they are spares for riding. If I ever need them, they'll get xpel on high exposure areas to keep wear and polishing to a min.
R's need to be ridden.

That really Sucks!!!  :-[

Jeremy made some really nice 250R parts!!!

I have a few on my builds

Sad to hear this....I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels this way!

:(

Yes very unfortunate.  Jeremy and his dad made some nice parts.

Joe

Did he give a reason why?

Id say small shop with limited capacity.  NPM did start making firearms accessories.  Then again it’s feast or famine in the R world when it comes to custom parts.

Quotes from NPM:

“I was doing the 250r parts for like 9 years. Sold a ton of exhaust hangers, stem clamps and water pump covers...
I haven't been actively making atv parts for like 2 or 3 years”

“I was doing like $20k a year in sales when I was really pushing it. It's up to whoever buys it to push it and make the sales. I'm not going to guarantee you'll make what I did”

I have gone to aluminum since black isn't avail anymore. It's more rigid to compress the sealing oring with, so I figure it's an upgrade.
I dn't think Honda uses the clear and black zinc interchangeably for a given part number. bolts that end in 07, like this as far as I have documented are black, and 00 are zinc.
