Or you could use a 250r swingarm? Not understanding why going through all this trouble with 450r components is worth it?

"O"ring or non is up to you. There are different opinions on which is better. If you plan on doing much riding I would suggest buying a top quality chain. Stay away from the super cheap chains on Ebay

Welcome aboard. I have done a few frame repairs and have found it to not be as hard as I originally thought. The lower frame rails are 22mm, but 7/8" square tube is an almost perfect fit. I would suggest pulling the engine out and buying a gusset kit from pumashine. I cut out both of the lower engine mount tubes and replaced them. Then set a spare set of cases in the frame so I could line up the new mounts. It came out perfect. Enjoy, Loren
