Re: 86 Oregon R Pretty much doing what Joe said. It had 2 OHV stickers on it, one from 05 & one from 08. I think the previous owner went through the whole R in 05 & repainted everything & fixed it up really nice & even scored brand new OEM plastic for it. Than it seems like they rode it for the next 3 years in the sand & never washed it or cleaned it once than put it away in 08 & that's how Joe got it. It was absolutely filthy but its truly a diamond in the rough so I'm cleaning it up to make it worthy of the near new OEM plastic that's on it. It's cleaning up very well so sunglasses will be needed to look at it when it's all done.  8)

Re: 86 Oregon R
Sweet stuff guys!  Anybody want to take bets on whether it has a set of Kevin's perfectly-polished wheels on it for the 2020 ride? Lol

There already polished.lol... They were etched pretty good from having sand stuck to them for years so don't get any closer than 3' when you look at the wheels.

Re: Swing arm pivot bolt question Unless you drill holes in the bearing collars & bearing shells adding zerks to the swinger bolt & or the pivot end of the swinger won't allow grease to get to the bearings. If your doing it to keep the bolt greased to make it easy to remove than that's an option but cross drilling the bolt at the collars will obviously make it weaker.

Re: 86 Oregon R In light of the new discovery of using stainless handicap rails for turn downs I cut one for the FMF power core silencer that was on Joe's R to hopefully help quiet it down a bit & get it closer to the legal db limit. I tacked it in place with a mig & now just need to have it tig welded:

Re: 2020 Winchester 250r meet up. I used to love night riding at the dunes but getting older now I'd almost rather sit around a camp fire at night, enjoy some frosty beverages & BS with everyone.
