Sanded till I got to 1000 grit then a bench grinder with polishing wheels used the yellow wheel then the wire wheel then a fluffy pad

Picked up everything my buddy had left of his 250r stash 6 rear fenders,2 sets of front fenders, Clark oversized tank, clear oversized tank, a box of brackets, radiator, seat, and a powder coated 88 frame steering stem and a stock swing arm for 1,170$

What is your next step with the R?
just getting bolts and brackets going to take apart the engine and go through it
If you're noit already aware, you'll need a few special tools to complete an engine rebuild properly (without damaging things). The Honda service manual is a good resources. Some experience helps too, so if you have questions, be sure to ask. Parts can be expensive and some hard to find, so best to go in deliberately.
i have case splitters and crank pullers flywheel removers is there anything else i need?

we have 2 88's  one is stock and the other setup for MX.  They are appropriately named!
i love my blasters i have gotten a few more since this picture but they are fun to hop on and beat the snot out of

Here is my 88 250r I bought a few weeks ago as a frame I’ve always wanted a 250r so I decided to build one Joe has helped out a ton with extensive knowledge and sold me a few mounts also hooked it up with a tee shirt
