Re: 1986 trx 250r Pumashine gusset kit advice/pictures/info
Welcome to the best R forum! Lots of great guys here that will help you out. Looks like the pics aren’t showing up.. hmm I’ll notify a mod to look into it. I’ve seen these pics recently so I’m not sure what the problem is. Possibly a problem with the host. https://www.forums.trx250r.org/index.php/topic,2777.0.html January 19, 2019, 11:25:52 PM |

Welcome to the site. Hopefully Tony can re-link those pics quickly - looks like they've been moved on the hosting site so might need to be re-uploaded in general.

Re: 1986 250r front spindles ?????
The spindles in the pics you posted are 88’s Joe January 23, 2019, 05:23:04 PM |

Re: 1986 250r front spindles ?????
The spindles you posted look good. I’d say the 89’s are the best design (the tapered spindle shaft). So, since aftermarket hubs are almost non existent for 86 and 87’s...purchase the niceset 88/89 spindles you can find. Joe January 23, 2019, 08:05:12 PM |

Re: 1986 250r front spindles ?????
Yes believe those are 88 spindles. It's been so long since I've ran anything besides a tapered spindle design but *I believe* you can use the 89 hubs on that spindle AS LONG AS you remove the 89 tapered collar and use the correct bearings. Memory a little foggy here.

I'd separate spindles if that's all you want also...
