Re: 2020 Winchester 250r meet up.
Just sitting here at work thinking about the 250R meet. We came up with some great idea's for activities a while ago. Did any of them spark an interest? I know the meet is still several months away, but do we have any idea how many people are hoping to be there? Should we try to get a head count? I ask about numbers mostly for planning the meet and great bbq lunch. Also it was a treat to see Mr. Sanders show up at our camp and eat with us let alone go for a ride! Does anyone friendly with Arlen want to press him to appear? I will work on Pete as I am sure others will. I rode once with @havvinoj and @traxman a few years ago and had a blast. I have not seen Damon since that day. I would love to see someone strong arm him into making an appearance. He is a pretty cool guy to shoot the poo with. All things considered, I have had a fantastic experience every year this took place. I can't believe how far some people have traveled to attend. Hawaii, Ohio, California, Arizona, and Nevada to name a few. One crazy sob even flew into pdx and within a few hours purchased a 86 trx250r! That particular fella has a permanent seat at my table. Don't worry everyone! I got a new job, but I negotiated an extra week of vacation and was assured that I would be able to use it. I have two events this year that I am unwilling to miss. The first event is the annual 250R Winchester bay dunes ride and the second is a Motley Crue/Joan Jett/Poison/Def Leppard concert. So it looks like I have my priorities in check. Loren I was running into similar issues riding my cr250’s a couple of things that helped me were evs wrister gloves they have a hard plastic plate that is in the glove and it runs from your wrist to your knuckles,the second was flexx bars.I went to an orthopedist due to soreness,inflammation and numbness/tingling.he attributed my issues to my riding ,after using those gloves and flexx bars my issues diminished quite a bit.I hope this helps and you feel better..

Created an account just so I could answer this cause I get asked about this all the time at the dunes. I run a 23.5” Goldspeed sand tire in the front and 21x11x8 rear. I highly recommend the taller front tires! Was one of the best things I did for my dune setup. The dunes get so torn up by the side by sides now so it’s nice having the extra clearance running taller tires, plus they’re smoother cause they kinda just monster truck over all the chop! Just started listening to Cody Janssen's "Digging Deep" podcast a few days ago. The Shane Hitt episode is pretty funny. Some great stuff in there. Also the first Kory Ellis episode was really good. I haven't listened to ATV talk yet with Duncan. Gonna try it out today
