I have no clue. I've always ran a stock axle with my quads. I know nothing about this setup

I've never ram an after market axle. This was on there when I bought it. Seems like the fade nut is backwards and the brass ring is not needed

I like it. It's been alittle difficult getting used to keeping the revs up. My yfz was a whole different animal. I set it up perfect for woods riding. I'm extremely picky with set up. Only real plans I have are to get the carb dialed in and figure out the cause of my bog issue.

I'm from south jersey. New to 250r's and Hondas. Always been a 4 stroke/ yamaha guy. Always wanted a 250r. Finally pulled the trigger. 2 good friends also have 250r's, another has an atc r and a 350x. I'm one of 2 Yami guys out of the 20+ people we know Who ride.

Carburetor, Intake, and Exhaust / in need of some help
« on: April 05, 2015, 11:08:41 AM »
Using the stock cap and vent. As far as I know it's original. what you guys are saying does make sense. I have a clear fuel line from the petcock to carb. I have seen air pockets roughly 1/4 to 1/2" in size on occasion. I had intension on changing the filter and petcock when I first brought it home but forgot about it. Thanks for the input. Much appreciated.

I've only had my R out twice Since I've owned it. Both tInes were about 4-5hrs. I was able ride all day with out any problems until I really beat on it at the end of the day. I'd be able to get in a solid 3-4 laps on a small flat track But then it would bog out and stall. 3-6 kicks later, it would fire over and id be able to get her hell and it would do the same After 3-4 laps again. I switched on reserve the first time it did it and nothing changed. My filter is fairly dirty, which I just replaced this week but haven't been able to ride it. I did find the clamps on the intake and outtake on my carb were loose, which I tighten last night. Unfortunately the guy I bought it from didn't do any work on this R and never got paperwork for anything done to it motor wise. All I know is that the motor was rebuilt, has a stock jug with a cool head(unsure what size), v force 3 reeds, fmf exhaust, stock intake tube with K&N. 34mm carb With 155 m and 48 pilot. I didn't pull the carb all the way off so I'm not sure where the needle is. AS is about 1.5-2 turns out. Anyone every experience this?? this is my first 2 stroke, hopefully someone can help
