Okay I think i solved the problem, it appears that I over rotated the bearing carrier and had to turn it back quite a bit. But the brake caliper lines up now, thanks for the help everyone!

I don't think you'd need to pull it I'd just put the oem up against the billet one.

I will have to take a look, the anti-fade gets in the way slightly.

Take your stock brake stay and make sure your new billet one is the exact same, it's possible a batch of bad stays was made.

If rotating the carrier doesn't work i am planning on taking the billet stay off and comparing it to the OEM stay.

Just rotate the carrier

I will be doing that today or tomorrow depending if I get off work early.

What kind of carrier are you using I have had this issue with the bearings being wider.

It's a LSR billet carrier.

Stock bolt spacing is 4-1/2" center to center ? What are you gettting ? If it's 4" it might be set up for a CRF Front Caliper swap. :)

The spacing is 4-1/2" a member suggested that i have the carrier in the wrong position so I am going to try turning that to see if that is the problem.

Hello everyone, I was getting my quad all put together this past  weekend. When I went to install my rear brake caliper on my new billet  brake stay, the holes would not align correctly kinda like the brake  stay was cut short.

I have a laeger swing arm with a billet  carrier and a RPM axle and anti-fade. The axle and anti-fade, and billet  brake stay are new parts for this build. Before I swapped the axle the  brake was on the OEM stay without a problem.

What should I do for  this problem? Try to get the caliper on the stay or should I put the  OEM stay back on and see if the problem still exists?

This stopped me from riding this weekend so I want to get it worked out ASAP so I can finally ride.

Any help would be great.

Another idea instead of welding have the box held together with fasteners making it convertible from box style to eliminator style.

It's just a idea, it would be nice to remove 4 screws from the front and be able to pull the back part of the box off.

I can't wait till the airbox/intake are ready to try out, been needing a new airbox for a while now for XC racing.
