Yea. It works from pressure so it doesn't really matter where it's mounted.

Just the reservoir fill cap. Needs a window or something to check the fluid level. Will have to figure that out later.

Each side has a cable guide. Also covers the afterthought welds and burnt powder coat.

Have a few small updates. Mounted a coolant tank. These are a must have in the desert. The extra capacity won't hurt either.

Renthal midsize for something like a cr80. Using a +1 stem. Right at shoulder width for me.

Oh my bad not at all annoyed. I'm sorry it sounded that way. Actually your question is completely valid. I understand my setup is different then others that's why I posted it here. So in reality thanks for asking! Gives me the chance to explain why I did it this way. I didn't think people would really care to hear about the shock angle specs. But I didn't just randomly weld in some shock mounts and hope for the best lol. It's just my perspective on things from experience. So again thanks for asking I have no problem answering any questions. This is what I love to do!

If I remember correctly smooth buff cost $60 a tire. Told them to leave the center tread and buff to the wheel. Not something I have seen before so I'm really happy with how they turned out. Exactly what I wanted. Lots of ground clearance on this bike.

Ahh indeed. I didn't see those. The 8"'wide would have been the deal breaker for me. Also wanted 4 ply tires.

Yea it's just sitting on the shelf. I have a few other parts still to put on I just wanted to see what it looked like with the plastics on. I will post some better pics once the bike is done.

Its easy to pull the pins under the seat. That worked out perfectly.

Never heard of the pogo effect but I can control the rebound simply by adjusting it. And the shock angle has nothing to do with rebound. You may be thinking if the effects of a rising rate shock setup. IMO it's never a good idea to lay the shock past ninety degrees at full bump. In this case the swing arm pivot bolt. That way it cycles in the same path as the swing arm. Making the shock work most efficiently. Just because Honda mounted the shock the way they did 30 years ago for clearance issues. Doesn't mean it's the best. This is how I mount shocks on all my builds. Although they are mostly long travel A-arm and 3-4 link type suspension on trucks. This should be no different. It's just how things have worked for me in the past.
