Hornepayne ???

That's in the middle of NOWHERE!!!

We don't even have DUNES up here in that part of the Great White North!

Must be a move to save TAXES as I bet it's CHEAP to operate out of that location.....BUT shipping and DUTY are gonna be a LOT more!!

I hope SKAT TRAK thought it through

Joe,

This pic shows how close the CRF Caliper mount is to the TRX Support.....it's off by 1/4"

So, either supply a NEW Steel Support....which I have made out of Stainless.

Or supply a NEW Caliper mount to adapt to the TRX support.

:)
That is really close, especially if it floats center line with the rotor.
Is the leverage ratio the same as the stock caliper too (calculate piston face area)?

It's so close that HONDA should have made it the same size... ;)

The Caliper Pistons are the same diameter, so I would say the lever ratio is the same....it works really good and it's a very clean look.

:D

Hey Joe, I reached out to him and suggested he offer a mount like that , that would incorporate the 250R caliper mounting holes....BUT would use a NEWER Nissan caliper from the HONDA CRF Front Caliper. Like the Swap I did years ago....It's a Twin Piston Caliper with no Emergency Brake.....I have not heard back from him.....

Here's the old post for reference

Hi Joe,

I haven't ridden in the US.....too afraid that my LAEGER would go missing from the back of my Pick Up if I stayed in a Motel for the night...

I have been to Unadilla, Red Bud & Lorretta's many times! (got a closet full of T-shirts from 1999-2011!)

I'm just East of Toronto, Ontario .....so a LONG drive to Glamis!!!

One day....if I rent a Toy Hauler....and do it in style!

;)

Public Service Announcement - CHECK your Rod Ends - It you have Stainless Steel Tie Rods - and Carbon Steel Rod Ends.....Be sure to remove them and check the Threads.....GALVANIC CORROSION is the reaction between these too metals causing corrosion and the threads on the Carbon Steel Rod Ends to corrode. LUCKILLY I was pulling in my driveway after an intense ride and the Tie-rod let go when hit the brakes! This could have been FATAL if I was 6th gear wide open and it let go!!!! Just wanted to put it out there for any other Laeger owners. 😉

Still waiting on my engine.   Canadian production is slow in comparison.  Lol

Hey John....what did Panthera give you for a timeline ?

Hopefully you'll get it soon and be riding by early spring!

Cant't wait to see how this turns out! She's gonna be a mean machine!

They relocate the Pilot Jet & Main Jet....so they can be replaced without removing the carburetor.

DMR incorporated thumb screws so the only tools required are a screwdriver to remove the pilot jet and a 6mm nut driver to remove the main jet.

It's a real game changer!

OR READ ABOUT IT HERE: https://dirtwheelsmag.com/kahana-motorsports-km500r-2-stroke-sport-quad/

No mention about a COUNTER BALANCER ???  :o

The bodywork looks flimsy too.....maybe it's still in the Proto-Type phase....

Welcome back Joe :)

Don't forget CPI makes Big bores too! Lynx, Sabre or Puma....Depending on how big you wanna go!

I sure hope ESR gets back in the game....I have had great luck with their Cylinders.

CT uses the LA Sleeve/Pro-X Cylinder and they told me they weren't doing a run of them till the demand comes back......Hopefully Allen at CT has some in STOCK.
