For Sale - Parts / 363 Sphinx cylinder and 4 mil hot rods crank
« on: May 29, 2020, 05:13:56 PM »
Have a 3-4 weekend (ran) 363 Sphinx cylinder, head, piston and the 4 mil hot rods stroker crank that goes with it.  I built a spare motor used it a few weekends robbed a few parts off and never ran again.  I can't seem to make my posted pictures go through so PM me if interested with your phone number and I can text you pictures.  I'm in Oregon so a local cash sale would be great, will ship with Pay Pal payment.

$1,000.00

Thanks.  Maybe someone can tell me how to post a picture, seemed pretty like it was pretty easy but site timed out every time.

Havnnoj I have a sudco 41.5 pwk that I bought new a few years ago that's in good shape I would sell for $150 or if you have a good 38 non air Stryker pwk in good shape to trade I would do that as well.  I can take some pictures if you want

Engine and Bottom End / Re: 363 370 Vibration
« on: November 06, 2018, 09:00:57 AM »
balancing helps very little in my opinion.  Running a standard stroke crank will help the mos with a big bore. Small motors like 72 mm bore or less a 4 mil is fine.  Once you go over that the more they vibrate.  Standard stroke will be easier to start as well

Engine and Bottom End / Re: Ignition setups
« on: August 25, 2018, 10:42:43 AM »
Personally I can't tell a lot of difference between the stock stuff and the cr ignition.  Most people feel the cr as snappier it should be with the reduced flywheel weight.  The trx cod actually has more advance early on and will help low end response.  Problem with trx stuff is it's old and most times people have problems with the stator producing low current so the spark is weak.  I have the stock ignition on my little 310 with a slightly lightened flywheel and it works great.  You just need to close the spark plug gap a bit to compensate for a little less spark energy

If I'm not mistaken it's 3.4 inches.  In talking to Arlan about it on stock cases he fills void with epoxy since the milled area gets pretty thin
