Guys I really appreciate your honest opinions!  Definitely made me make up my mind on the trade. I've noticed what you said about Craigslist too. People post there built machines and they sit for a long while because there asking too much. Thanks again

A west coast quad would be mint!  Hey if it came down to it and I had to sell this quad do you guys think it would sell for 3500-4000 if I spiffed it up a smidge? Or at least 3500?

That's actually the range i am somewhat looking for. That quad you bought there looks mint btw! What do you other guys think? Think that's a pretty good range?

Hey guys i need some help with determining the value of a quad. Basically i've got a guy that want to trade me a 250r that he says is fully built to race. Here's what i know so far, lone star long travel a arms, axis 19" shocks with k&k reservoir mounts, dominator 2 axle, gusseted and powder coated frame, swingarm from 87, new tires, nerf bars, custom radiator, cool head, ported jug, motor rebuilt 2 rides ago crank piston rod bearings bored to 280, new clutch, fmf pipe and tons of other odds and ends. Have pics but they are on my phone. I will upload in a bit. Looks like the quad could use a set of fresh plastics but besides that looks real clean. He is telling me everything is basically new for the most part. Judging by where this is going what sort of price tag would you guys throw on it? I live in NY also, i know that plays a part. Really appreciate it, thanks in advance.
