Thats what happens when you have too much power. It can't be that bad if its all you have to complain about!

Very true Tony. But man did it make me look slow racing Dave's nephews sphynx. Was like I was sleeping at the line.  Made some improvements by adjusting the shocks, but never got to race him again due to his trans blowing 1st. Still had a great time out for the first time in three years. Looking forward to next year.

Is Polandas R a sphynx or a 330 on alky? cant remember

Honda bottom end
Stock stroke crank with a KTM rod
Polaris 400 cylinder
84mm Bore
Stock Polaris head welded up and machined
Reed box is off a rotax 800 cylinder
48mm Lectron on Alky
Shearer Saber Pipe.(really think the pipe is holding it back)

After beating him so many times I thought I would give him a few bike jump to boost his ego. :respekt:

Carburetor, Intake, and Exhaust / Lectron Tuning Issue

Only other thing I can think of would be the seat in the carb.  May be a larger one since the carb was on alky?  Would be a good question for Packard when you call him.

Carburetor, Intake, and Exhaust / Lectron Tuning Issue

Did it run ok with another carb? If so that would eliminate any other issues. You could have the wrong needle causing it to be rich. I'm not good with the lectron gas needles though.

You do have the flat part of the needle facing the motor correct?  Flat part toward the air filter will run like crap.

video of the sphynx running before breaking 1st gear into 5 pieces

Spynx made me look like I was sleeping out of the hole.  Sucks about the trans. Was it a override?

Been gone from the site for a while and thought I'd check it out since I'm headed to SL Thursday.  Had a trip with the family planned so I'll see you guys there!  I'm going to try and pull a couple all nighters and get my quad ready.  Do you guys have a plan as far as meeting up goes?  Sorry if it's been covered but I didn't read all twelve pages of posts.

Anyone bringing any drag quads?

Lounge / Neck Braces

Both of my boys use Atlas. One took a terrible hit that broke his brace but he walked away. Atlas replaced it for free. In my opinion the brace did its job and I couldn't be happier. We went with the Atlas since it doesn't put pressure on the back/spine.

My Lectron barely clears the cross tube with the shock mount on a stock frame.  No way could I fit that monster of a cutler without modify my frame like Wayne did.

You can see how the corners cut off to clear the case. Mine still rubs a little due to being a Polonda with a different reed cage welded on and and a custom intake.
