Engine and Bottom End / Leak around cylinder base

So I went to start my quad yesterday and notice a little blue smoke coming from the engine. What I initially thought was an exhaust leak at the pipe turned out to be an oil leak near the bottom of the cylinder. It's right at the corner where one of the bolts that holds the cylinder to the block goes.My question is should I replace the whole top end(piston and cylinder) or just the gasket. Also, could this be indicative of a bigger problem, or just old seals showing their age since the previous owner rode it maybe 3 hours in 10 years.

Engine and Bottom End / New ESR motor running great

All transmission, clutch side components and counter balancer are OEM parts. Crank is a Hot Rods. Cylinder, clutch cover and stator cover are ESR but OEM will bolt right up. No issues what so ever putting this motor together. Would highly recommend to anyone needing cases.
Much appreciated.

Not to derail the thread, but I recently came across ESR cases and I was wondering if the ESR standard cases were compatible with all OEM Honda parts. If not,is there any alternative other than used OEM?

Hi,I recently became the owner of a 1986 Honda Trx250R.I bought it from a friend of a friend who had stored it in a barn for the last 10 years. It still runs well but fouls plugs and runs extremely rich.I'm about to have it rejetted by my local Honda dealer and hopefully will get to put much more time on it as it has only had about 3 hours on it since the last top end rebuild. My end goal for this quad is to have an Original looking quad that's still pretty quick.I'll post pics sometime tomorrow.Happy riding.
