Carburetor, Intake, and Exhaust / Re: SmartCarb SC2 38mm

I've had great success with the SC. It is imperative that you don't use the stock intake boot. The orifice at the top of bell needs a clear shot at incoming air. The  settings it came with were spot on. 40mm on a LED 363.

Ah the memories. I had an Amp Link, a Answer silencer with a spring loaded valve at the outlet,  and of course a roost boost.

I had an 89 race back in the day. I was not impressed with it on a stockish 88 with stock ports. I put  my pt race  back on. That "race " predated the "89" pipe. It was more pipey and made more power.  I still have that collectors item if you're interested. ;)

Interesting, almost looks like the wheel needs  more backspacing. Hard to tell from the pics. I know ltr knucke/spindles are the rage now.

One thing to plan for is the  elevation is 5000-5500' feet. Jetting and a loss of power due to the elevation can be a challenge.

You can hit that dune in top gear. A mild 250r or 450r can't climb straight up it.

It went great the weather was nice the skies were a little hazy from smoke/ wildlifes. Usually you can see the Tetons in the distance. My 363 and a buddies 340 both ripped.

I don't know,  they have hook ups and a camp store. I camped there about 25 years ago when it was just a  field road and a turn around.
