Carburetor, Intake, and Exhaust / Aluminum air box and shrouds
« on: August 31, 2013, 03:39:25 PM »
I bought the CFM shrouds and I like them.  They bolted right up with no fitment issues.

I bought an airbox from UM performance, but the mounting bracket they gave me for that didn't line up at all so I ended up having to make my own.

Suspension and Chassis / Twisted Frame?
« on: August 27, 2013, 05:09:40 PM »
Not sure where you're located, but there's a guy out here in CA that uses a jig to check for straightness on frames.  He mostly does motorcycles, but I've had him check my R frame and straighten out an axle before.  He's not cheap though, it's $200 just to inspect a frame, not counting whatever the repair costs are.  Place is called Dr. John's MFS.

Suspension and Chassis / Powdercoat Masking

Yeah, I'm doing the masking myself.  The powdercoater gave me some high temp tape to use and said I could just use bolts for the threaded holes.

Suspension and Chassis / Powdercoat Masking

I'm about to take my frame down for powdercoating.  Other than masking all the threaded holes, the grounding location by the left radiator mount, and the brake pedal mount, is there anything else I should be masking off?

Suspension and Chassis / LSR Anti-Fade with Durablue Axle?
« on: July 15, 2013, 03:28:53 PM »
Hey guys, I have a Durablue Eliminator axle, and want to upgrade to an anti-fade hub/lock nut.  Do I have to use the Durablue anti-fade? Or can I run the LSR one instead?  Thanks.
