Yeah, I just had to go all the way down to 220, then went to 1500, I know the jump is very drastic, but It works, and the buffing wheel makes it very shiny and smooth

Well I've wet sanded them 2 times, once with 220 and 320, I realized that was not high enough grit, and then I used 320, 400, 800, 1000, 1500, 2000, 3000, and 500 grit sandpaper

It's my front and back, the rear is full bore, and the front is Maier, it's called lacquer clear coat, and I put about 3 coats on

So I did a really big mistake that i regret, today I finished polishing up my Clarke dessert tank, and I hit it with a buffing wheel, and it had a really great shine, I want to do that with my plastics but I have sanded them 2x, can I just wire wool the clear coat off, go through with a 3000 grit sand paper, and then hit with a buffing wheel, or are they already too brittle and I'm past the point of no return?
