Wanted / Racer looking for 250R engine

Well, guy said all hes heard was bout that bad 431 skinning folks up & said he wants a 500 Saber to come git him some of that Puma. Said hes coming with his game on & gona run by that Puma so fast it gona suck the blue right off them new fenders.






:redbull: :wrenching: :quad: :wave_flag: Naw, just messing. Two guys over in Wilson just got Rs & one came to my shop to go over rebuilding his. Hes just wanting an extra engine. Guy have been on the 250R sites for a few years, not posted before untill the other day from reading stuff about me & made contact with me.

Hahaha man I tell ya I'll love to have another Trx helping up keep the 250r alive racing for C-Leigh racing this year on the rough and tuff , tire squeeling, come get ya sum blue groove  tracks of NC ..!!!! Man it's hard out there 1- 250r among 15-4 pokes at the line.. But when it goes green they know that puma will be a pain in the a$$.....

FYI if your dealing with Neil be sure to tell him to a T !!! Rider experience (important)so he can make it rideable...what kind riding you will doing with it, what range pipe, how you plan to set that engine up.. Good luck

Welcome you will learn a lot here just start digging and reading..I know it's early but  First thing you'll learn is theres no pre jeted carbs every motor is different..  That don't mean change jets just put it in your "to do search list" for jetting..  Welcome to the site

Do you have timing adjust plate, give it 4-6 degrees of timing,have it reported, custom cut dome .. Race gas with proper compression

What's the timing set at? Mabe call Pete and give it some timing, 2-4 degrees of timing usually Wakes up my bottem end ever time.. But be CAREFUL that pvl will smoke a piston QUICK in the wrong hands ....I've always had a lot better luck with the 38 A/S or 41.5 for 370+...I've never had luck with the 39 pwk..cej and dgh middle to last clip has worked for all my builds...just trying to help  good luck

100:1 !!!!! That take sum serious nerve there grasshopper !!!! I'm sure it can be done with oils today,but not in any motor of mine... If I told Neil I'm running his motors at 100:1 it's libel to kill him.. or him kill me one or the other!!! I like LUBE ... alittle smoke don't phase me....Good luck
