Lol that was my post on Trx250r owners for life. I haven’t heard anything else since then but will definitely be getting one when he gets around to them.

Jordan, have you seen any updates from Mr. Arens?

Joe

I have not, I honestly don’t think it will happen.

Jordan, what steering stem is that?

Joe

It is a one-off Lonestar stem. Raw, +3+1 with a custom badge welded on

Look cool. I see tabs on the lower section, is there a bash plate that goes with it or do you have to make your own?

Yes it came with an aluminum plate. I am not using it though. I am going to try and have fourwerx cut me a plate out of blue carbon fiber to match my hood and shrouds.

Hey guys, figured I’d share some pics of my bumper that just got finished last week. Fabricated by a local guy to me named Brandon from DMG Autosport. This one got polished tubes along with his special weld process to really bring out the heat marks, skid plate tabs and then clear coated.

The pictures don’t even do justice to how beautiful this thing is in your hands.

I was gonna get a dominator axle for this 86 I’m putting together. And I know they’re definitely worth the money but with that price increase I ended up picking up a used durablue instead  :-\

Oh have seen this before and I don’t believe it is factory. The thought process was that it would improve fuel atomization but it inversely reduces flow because it moves the fuel mixture to the outer walls of the carb rather than the fuel being evenly distributed and carried through the air tunnel. That may be a bad way of explaining it but some things are hard to explain over a message board lol.

Engine and Bottom End / Re: Just run it?
« on: May 28, 2022, 02:36:51 PM »
Personally, I would send it out and have it set up. Not that Eddie’s porting is BAD, but it does leave a lot on the table. I feel like if you rush to get it together you’re gonna wish you hadn’t and you’ll be pulling it apart again to send the cylinder out anyway.

My first choice would always be Jerry Hall or Pete at Hybrid Engineering. Not sure how far out they are but I think it will be worth the wait either way.

I will also note though, whoever ports your cylinder is going to want you to run specific components along with it. So I wouldn’t be hell bent on running the Selvy pipe. If you can find someone that can work with the selvy pipe then great. But you’re wasting your time if you won’t run the pipe or the other components that the builder suggests to go with their porting. Everything has to work together.

Wanted / Shocks & A-arms
« on: May 23, 2022, 07:33:20 PM »
Looking for a set of +2 or +3 a-arms for the 86 I’m putting together. Can be std of long travel. Also looking for a set of shocks but won’t know what length I’ll need until I find arms.

Also looking for an extended axle.

Thanks guys
