Engine and Bottom End / 2 stroke oil in bottom of cases?

I am definitely guilty of mixing more fuel than I need I just want to be able to jump on and go whenever I may want to go for a spin.  I should say that there was no excessive smoke when I started it up and it was probably loaded up a little bit when I parked it
Dominator is a clean burning oil, but that doesn't mean its a 100% combustion oil,
its meant for high heat high compression high rpm engines, but to be honest its not the best mixing of oils, add time in the tank and the molecules even separate more..

keep you premix fresh and run it harder and hotter and you will have less residual oil build up in your crank and more complete protection from properly burned premix

I couldnt find the dipstick for the bottom of my cases to check to make sure I had enough oil in it.  Oh wait thats on a 4poke.  We are talking about 2 strokes right??

yes you get oil residual left in the crank, however an inch deep is excessive, try only mixing enough premix to use that day,

Lounge / Sphinx vs. Puma

On the Puma's the cases have to be filled with epoxy before machining the cases. When done the builder usually makes a cut across the top to make sure no epoxy is above the surface.

is this on all the puma's, even the smaller bores like the 293cc?
would there be any benefit to use the smaller puma over a sphinx?

I was looking at CP industries web site and noticed that the 309 cc up to 363 cc sphinx has the exact same specs as the smaller puma of the same size... can anyone tell me the difference in the 2??

Why would you think the newer curves would produce less power? I thought the only reason was because the 2001 components have been discontinued.

just always heard that the 01 cr250r had the best throttle response and performance of all the years...

the 01 was also the year of choice for the bikes as well as quads. not really sure how much different timing curve we are talking about, just from talking with cr250 owners through out the years, they have also been chasing the same cdi as us

I want to! I got a few pieces that I'm ready to toss on her. Brand new trx5, quick change, billet kicker, shifter, and brake pedal. Ill have to search down some plastics and a seat. I got a fairly new chain already.

there is no such thing a  fairly new chain ...its either new or used,,,

please! please! please!... don't use a used chain ...cases are getting way too rare to risk it...its a small investment, that could have a HUGE expense if skimped on
im aware times are tough, but this is one part worth the wait till you can afford a new one

seems as though ESR has a new adafrom a pter plate that allows for 2002-2007 cr250r ignition system.
