Will you be racing this upcoming summer?   If so, where?  My buddy races flat track, but not many tracks around.

I've run a full set of tech 3 hipers for over 5 years now.  Bought them used and the tires only loose 2 pounds over the winter.  If you find a used set watch the bolts that hold the ring on.  They can sometimes seize and spin, then you need to buy a new half and or possibly a new ring.  Antiseize is your friend when you put them back together.

I think I may snag a turbine core as well...those are comparable with esr 5 pipe corecto? I think iv heard mixed opinions....

I used a turbine core fmf in May at Silver lake and had no issues.  I was running it with my ESR 6 mated to a Duncan 275 powervalve and it worked well.  They weren't checking sound the two days I was there.

Suspension and Chassis / Lonestar Swingarm Bearings
« on: April 27, 2015, 08:55:30 AM »
Just as an FYI.  I ordered the 88-89 Pivot works swingarm bearing kit from ebay for $40.  The bearings, spacer tube, dust seals and collars were correct for the Lonestar swingarm, but the spacers were not.  They were too long.  I could have machined them down, but my old ones were in good shape, so I used them.  So you can buy just the bearings from Lonestar for $40+shipping or buy the Pivot works kit for $40 shipped and get the bearings, spacer tube and dust seals and caps.

My lonestar swingarm needs swingarm bearings.  Does the lonestar swingarm use OEM Honda needle bearings or do they use needle bearings specific to Lonestar?  I have used Pivotworks swingarm bearings in my stocker, but didn't know if they would work in my lonestar.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Wanted / Silencer WITH Spark Arrestor
« on: March 19, 2015, 01:32:21 PM »
I need a silencer with a built in spark arrestor or a Cobra Sparky that would fit a 2 x 3/4" ESR silencer.  Going to the dunes (Silver Lake) for the first time in May.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks
