I use Hipers on everything. As long as you follow their specified torque specs you will have no issues w leaks. They are a high quality wheel that can take a lot of abuse.
I'm attempting to do this myself tomorrow on a 1000 sq ft garage I just had added to my house. I went w Epoxy-Coat brand. I'll let you know how it goes...
Victork i didn't read the entire thread so some of this may have been pointed out. If using a standard width frame your +2s with 4:1s will work well on today's tracks. Not sure if you saw or not, but Rpm is making a limited run of their discontinued XC width axle. This would put you at the width you need on the rear. The ideal setup is to be slightly narrower in the rear than the front for XC racing.
Depending on the conditions...either an oem airbox w lid or an oem airbox w lid removed and furnace filter material as a shield. Foam filters only...Twin air or Uni.
