you're all good... 1000's of these procedures since the onset of the procedure.  I had my initial procedure in 2001, an enhancement in 2011 and still going strong.  Wish they would have had this procedure figured out when i was wake boarding the rivers and lakes around portland, OR.

thanks guys... I'll run it as is and check the plug to see how it reads and go from there... I'm just trying to make as ready as possible, cause the trip would be a complete bust if something broke down on me in the middle of the dunes.  I guess one of the disadvantages of not having property to play with in advance.

I'll probably never do anything but Oregon coast dunes, as I'm an urban resident and no inland property to ride on. So this fixed 4 degree advance sounds like a little "tweak" that helps the bottom end with all other items constant?

This is what's installed on my quad, so should I just leave it? I feel a little uncomfortable with having a fixed advance setting vs. adjustable.  I guess maybe a better question is does Honda really retard timing 4 degrees -- documented(tech bulletin)?

my quad has what I found out is a fixed advance timing add-on.  I guess it's fixed at 4 degrees advance vs. fixed at TDC like stock.... yank it or keep it?  It has USA-1 engraved on it.

It fires and runs, but I know nothing about advanced timing on these trx's good or bad, and do not want to be chasing problems.
