Engine and Bottom End / Shocking development on ESR cylinders

Very cool Neil, I bought that cylinder in jan of  09.  I would guess it was one of the first few sold.  I called for an atc pipe and Tom told me they had just developed their own cylinder.  Too bad my counterbalancer let loose and ruined crank sleeve and piston.  Hope to hear more of your findings

Its a bolt on 330 esr pro x cylinder.  No case boring needed, used only with long rod cranks

I would love to see more 85-86 honda atc racing.  There just arent enough that showcase the beginning of competitive racing as we know it now.  Loretta lynns or gainsville mx racing would be awesome.  I ve seen san jose flattrack racing and the speeds back then are unreal

Its going to be all brand new.  My parts guy has a brand new short rod crank.  I prefer short rod motors.  Hopin it can be used

I was looking on cpi website,  Do sphynx 310 cylinders require the long rod crank?  Or is ok to run with short rod and no spacer.  Cylinder doesnt seem to be decked any different than other cylinders

Neil i have one of the very first esr cylinders sold in jan 09.  My counterbalancer bearing let loose and broke the sleeve and crank at the 30 hour mark.  Ouch!  Been sitting on shelf ever since.  You can have it
